Revive Face-to-Face Campus Recruitment: The first step in the process of diversifying a faculty is to know how and where to seek teaching candidates of color. Before independent school teacher agencies existed, representatives from independent schools went to colleges to recruit firsthand. While agencies may succeed in recruiting able candidates generally, the recruitment of teachers of color will require a more concerted and more personal effort.
